During my recent stay at Queens Head, I was pleasantly surprised by the culinary offerings. The restaurant, awarded an AA rosette, serves humble pub fare with a contemporary twist, showcasing seasonal produce from local suppliers. Each meal reflected a commitment to freshness, particularly evident in the 10oz rump steak I enjoyed-cooked perfectly and accompanied by all the trimmings. The ambiance erred on the side of cozy, with roaring fires adding warmth to the dining experience. Breakfast was a particular delight, with a diverse selection of cooked and continental options that truly set the tone for the day. The staff played a significant role in my enjoyable visit, demonstrating genuine kindness and attentiveness throughout my stay. This establishment's dedication to both hospitality and innovative cuisine makes it a memorable getaway. I look forward to returning for another culinary exploration.
